Health Courses
The resources in the Health Courses section cover a wide range of topics related to improving different aspects of your health.
This can include cognitive health, stress, mood, sleep, nutrition, physical fitness, weight management, pain management, and longevity.
It can also include platforms that allow you to test different biomarkers and gain greater insight into your overall health.
The aim is to provide tools and resources that can help you reach your goals or overcome your challenges in any of these areas.
I have placed them in the order in which I believe they have the greatest potential to help the most people.
Keep in mind that my ordering is based on people in general rather than you as an individual, so it might not reflect the best fit for you.
Feel free to look them over and choose whichever one resonates most with you and your current goals and needs.

Apollo Neuro: The Nervous System Regulation Wearable
Click the heading or image above to save $99 on Apollo Neuro.
Apollo Neuro grew out of the research of Dr. David Rabin, a neuroscientist, board-certified psychiatrist, and co-founder of Apollo Neuroscience.
He was searching for better ways to support those struggling with their mental health, particularly individuals with PTSD who had not responded adequately to conventional treatments.
During his research, he came across evidence that soothing touch can signal safety to the brain and influence the body’s stress response, prompting him to investigate whether gentle vibrations from a wearable device could harness that same response.
These insights and subsequent testing eventually led to the development of Apollo Neuro, a wearable device that delivers gentle, patterned vibrations to help support nervous system regulation.
Apollo’s vibrations are designed to signal safety through the sense of touch, supporting parasympathetic nervous system activity and helping the body move toward a calmer, more regulated state.
Apollo Neuro is primarily intended to support stress management, sleep, focus, energy, and recovery.
It is a consumer wellness device and is not intended to treat or cure medical conditions.
The device uses preset vibration programs known as Vibes, with seven Core options: Energy, Social, Focus, Recover, Calm, Unwind, and Sleep.
Each uses a different vibration pattern to support a particular state or goal.
This gives you the flexibility to select a Vibe based on how you want to feel or what you are trying to accomplish.
You can also create a customized schedule that automatically plays different Vibes throughout the day.
Each new Apollo wearable currently includes a one-year SmartVibes AI Membership, which provides access to additional Premium Vibes and automated sleep support.
After the included year, an active SmartVibes membership is required to continue using the wearable.
The automated sleep support comes from a unique feature called Stay Asleep, which detects when you begin to stir during the night and automatically delivers gentle vibrations to help prevent unwanted wake-ups.
The device is easy to incorporate into daily life and can be worn on either the wrist or ankle, or clipped to clothing such as a shirt collar or waistband, depending on your preference.
For anyone looking for a wearable device grounded in research and designed to support nervous system regulation, stress management, sleep, focus, energy, and recovery, Apollo Neuro is an innovative option worth considering.
Vielight: Photobiomodulation Devices for Brain and Systemic Wellness
Vielight is a research-focused photobiomodulation (PBM) company that develops devices for brain and systemic wellness.
Its devices primarily use red and near-infrared wavelengths of light to support brain health, nervous system regulation, and immune function.
Photobiomodulation has been studied across a wide range of health-related areas, with a growing body of research examining its potential. Depending on the application, the findings suggest PBM may help support outcomes such as improved cognitive function and mental well-being, tissue repair, pain relief, and physical recovery.
Vielight specializes in brain PBM and reports that its technology has been used in more than 30 published studies, although the strength of the evidence varies by device and application.
Its best-known brain devices are the Neuro headsets, which deliver near-infrared light both transcranially and intranasally to different regions of the brain.
The most advanced model is the Neuro Pro 2, Vielight’s most powerful and customizable brain PBM device, with the broadest overall coverage in the Neuro line. It uses 12 independently programmable 810 nm LEDs—10 in transcranial modules and two in intranasal applicators—and provides control over factors such as which LEDs are active, pulse frequency, intensity, session length, and phase timing, along with nine preset protocols.
The lineup also includes the Neuro Duo 4, Neuro Gamma 4, and Neuro Alpha 4. Although these models have lower total power, fewer modules, less overall coverage, and less customization than the Neuro Pro 2, they still provide broad transcranial coverage focused on key regions associated with the Default Mode Network, a brain network involved in cognition, memory, self-referential processing, and mental well-being.
Their lower price points also make them more financially accessible than the Neuro Pro 2.
Beyond their design and pricing, several published studies using devices from the Neuro Alpha, Gamma, and Duo families—including earlier models—have reported significant improvements in cognitive function and aspects of mental well-being in the populations studied.
The Neuro Duo 4, which Vielight currently lists as a best seller, provides both 10 Hz Alpha and 40 Hz Gamma modes, allowing you to switch between the Alpha mode, geared more toward relaxation and recovery, and the Gamma mode, geared more toward focus and cognitive performance.
The Neuro Alpha 4 and Neuro Gamma 4 each provide one of those modes individually, making them simpler choices for people primarily interested in either the Alpha or Gamma approach.
Vielight’s smallest and most affordable brain-focused devices are the MIP models, which use intranasal applicators to deliver different wavelengths of red and near-infrared light within the nasal cavity.
Although they do not provide the transcranial coverage of the Neuro headsets, the MIP devices are designed to support brain and broader systemic wellness, while preliminary imaging research on intranasal PBM has reported measurable responses across both cortical and deeper brain regions, along with changes in cerebrospinal fluid dynamics.
Like the Neuro Duo 4, the MIP devices offer both 10 Hz Alpha and 40 Hz Gamma modes through their 810 nm near-infrared applicator, allowing you to choose between modes geared more toward relaxation or focus.
The most versatile MIP model also includes a 470 nm blue-light applicator designed to help reduce potentially harmful microbes in the nasal cavity.
Vielight also offers devices designed to support vagal and immune function, including the Vielight Vagus and the X-Plus 4.
The Vielight Vagus combines an intranasal applicator with two modules, one positioned on each side of the neck over the vagus nerve.
It delivers 810 nm near-infrared light pulsed at 100 Hz and is designed to support vagal activity, brain-body connectivity, stress management, and mental clarity, although research into this particular PBM application is still emerging.
The X-Plus 4 combines an intranasal applicator with a module positioned on the upper chest over the thymus and is designed to support immune function and systemic wellness.
Vielight markets its products primarily for general wellness use, while regulatory status varies by product and jurisdiction. Except where specifically authorized for a medical indication, its products are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure disease.
Overall, if you are looking for photobiomodulation devices grounded in research and designed to support brain and systemic wellness, including cognitive function, stress management, and immune function, Vielight stands out as one of the most established options in the space.
